<p style=”text-align:justify”><span style=”font-size:11pt”><span style=”font-family:Calibri,sans-serif”><strong>Today, on September 8, 2021, a meeting of the Chairman of the Management Board of «Kazakhstan Center for Public-Private Partnership» JSC (hereinafter-the Company) Sarsenbay Yerzhan Nurlanuly with Ekaterina Benjamin, Head of the International Finance Corporation in Kazakhstan (hereinafter-IFC), a member of the World Bank Group took place.</strong></span></span></p> <p style=”text-align:justify”><span style=”font-size:11pt”><span style=”font-family:Calibri,sans-serif”>Representatives of IFC in Kazakhstan Ekaterina Benjamin, Head of the Office, investment experts of the Department of Infrastructure and Natural Resources of the European region and Central Asia Patrick Avato, Adilgerei Namazbayev, Vladislav Li expressed interest in IFC as an investor in the implementation of PPP projects in Kazakhstan.In addition, the corporation uses various mechanisms to assist countries in developing the private sector, in particular, such as: investments in companies in the form of loans, equity participation, debt obligations and guarantees; attracting funds from other creditors and investors in the form of syndicated loans, parallel loans and other ways; advising companies and governments on stimulating private investment and improving the investment climate.</span></span></p> <p style=”text-align:justify”><span style=”font-size:11pt”><span style=”font-family:Calibri,sans-serif”>In this regard, the issues of cooperation in the implementation of PPP infrastructure projects and the latest changes in the regulation of PPP in Kazakhstan were discussed.</span></span></p> <p style=”text-align:justify”><span style=”font-size:11pt”><span style=”font-family:Calibri,sans-serif”>In turn, Yerzhan Nurlanuly spoke about the Company's activities, the key goals aimed primarily at ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the country; development of infrastructure, energy and life support systems for the population; increasing the availability and quality of goods, works and services, taking into account the interests and needs of the population; increasing the overall innovation activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including promoting the development of high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries.</span></span></p>
